Integral to the implementation team of the Headquarters of the Department of the Army (HQDA) SharePoint farm that will eventually serve approximately 10,000 end users. Worked primarily as a developer setting up front end sites, adding content and working in the code in SharePoint Designer. Also worked on the Tier 2 admin team configuring SharePoint Site Collections, Content Databases, SharePoint Services and Project Server. Ensured a disaster recovery plan was created on the Tier 3 Level/Production server by working closely with the Tier 3 Systems Administrator. Performed demonstrations and presentations for new HQDA SharePoint customers as well as senior leadership.

Provided requirements analysis to evaluate how customers can leverage SharePoint for their business needs. Created documentation, processes, roles and responsibilities for Site Collection Administrators as well as End Users. Assisted department trainers with training material for classes.

Worked on the http://OAA.army.mil websites for the public and customer sites as well as the employee portal. Contributed to design and functionality converting the site from .asp pages to .Net framework and adding Master Pages, databases and forms to the pulic and customer sites. Created a database driven catalog for the Information Technology Agency at the Pentagon. This catalog's design became a high profile, scalable project for all other OAA agencies that would be defining their functional areas. Our immediate team also worked to add a custom content management editor for the catalog for easier maintenance by users.

Interfaced with customers for requirements gathering for regular external websites and business application services. Analyzed and advised requests for conversions to Microsoft products such as SQL Server and .Net as well as BPM applications Appian or SharePoint.

Worked on a small team at the Marine Corps Systems Command Office of the Chief Information Officer as a .Net web developer. Performed website updates on existing sites and associated logs. Completed that site ahead of schedule within two weeks of the start date. Created documentation of internal processes of the CIO's office.

Designed and developed a prototyped tool for Program Managers to create directives for projects. The original process was to write a directive in a Word format. The prototype however, was built using ASP.Net on the front end with VB.Net in the code file and SQL Server 2000 on the back end. This tool was architected in Microsoft technologies for easy integration with a SharePoint intranet site and accessible to all departments.

Designed and developed a tool for organizing information about the company's software releases. All the software release information for departments such as Configuration Management and Quality was provided in an Excel format from the Applications department. The tool was created using ASP.Net on the front end, VB.Net in the code file and SQL Server 2000 on the back end. This tool was created in Microsoft technologies for easy integration with a SharePoint intranet site and accessible to all departments.

Designed, developed and normalized databases in SQL Server 2000. Analyzed configuration management processes for company computers from the program management level through the various departments and down to the shipping process.

Ensured quality of software deliverables for government and commercial customers by reviewing test results, computer loading processes, and requirements documentation.

Gathered metrics on Incident Reports and Field Failures using Access DB and SQL interface. Reviewed Incident Report history of products and customer service through an Access DB.
